- Using On-Line Help

- There are three ways to display on-line help:
-
- • Choose the Help command (Apple menu).
-
- • Hold down the Command key and press the question mark (?) key.

- • On extended keyboards, press the Help key.

- To use Graph III’s on-line help:
-
- Step 1
- Display the help window.
-
- Step 2
- Click a topic on the left side of the help window.
-
- Step 3
- To display information about the previous topic, click the Previous button (up arrow).

- Step 4
- To display information about the next topic, click the Next button (down arrow).

- Searching for Key Words or Phrases
- If you can’t locate a topic, you can look for a key word or phrase:

- Step 1
- In the Help window, click the Search button (magnifying glass) to display a search dialog.

- Step 2
- Enter the word or string you want to search for in the dialog.

- To search for the exact combination of upper- and lowercase letters that you entered, click the Match Case check box.

- Step 3
- Click OK to begin a search.
-
- • The first occurrence of the word or string in the help file is highlighted in the right side of the window.
-
- • If the search is unsuccessful, the system beeps to indicate the word or string wasn’t found.

- Step 4
- Option-click the Search button again to find the next occurrence of the word or string.

- Step 5
- Click the close box when you’re finished.
